To Theronette, Zona and Garland, my deepest condolences, sympathies and prayers. It brought such joy to visit with your Mom while in town to see her smiling Happy face. May God grant each of you the peace and serenity you will need during this time. You loved your Mom, but God loved her best and summoned her Home.

Sorry to learn of Mrs. Brooks passing.
Living in North Newport News, I did not get to know her in my youth nor many other adults then. In the 80's and beyond, I met her sons. I have not seen Mrs. Brooks since the early 2000's, although I saw Garland only once since moving out of NN.
My work schedule in Virginia Beach would not allow me to attend viewing nor service.
You are in my prayers.
I will get to 155 Butler Farm

Cousins, no one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that aunt Hazel is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Our deepest condolences to the families.

Love, Rev. Adrienne Brooks and family
