Barbara F. Ward

Barbara Ward was a great teacher and a great coach. I remember running around the track as warm ups and being exhausted before practice. I try to take with me that lesson you need to keep moving even when it's not easy. My prayers and thoughts goes out to her family. Eunice Torres The English High Softball Team Class of 1986

Mrs Ward was an insiration to many students especially disadvantaged city youth. She displayed such a caring and grace and encouraged all to do there best, even those not athletically inclined. I am very sorry for your loss.

Thanks for the memories over a few short years - though short in time they were long in quality and quantity - from the blue of the ocean to the green of the land - from the hospitality of your home and Big TV to the treasure of your company with a knuckle salute -- thanks !!! Jim Breau

I must say the world is a much smaller place with out Aunt Barbara in it, so many memories, the Chalet, trying to help me learn to swim and skate, and also helping her take care of the boys when they were young, she was such a great person and I hope she is at peace, she will always be in our hearts for ever. I love you Aunt Barbara.
