George and I Grew up about 200 yards apart, one of the boys is living in the house I grew up in. I can remember many good times, playing baseball and football at the cemetary near the Ripley school and playing hockey on Swains pond. . He was a good friend and Maureen and I are really sad to hear of his passing. We send our condolences to all the children.

I feel very fortunate to call George a friend. There wasn't anything George would not do for you and I could always count on him. I will very much miss his 'pop ins' at Twin Isles and he always made my day. Words cannot describe the love he had for his family. He was so proud and I always got an update on everyone which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am sure Lucy is happy to have him by her side and I hope he can learn how to chip in Heaven.
Love To All, Steve

I am truly sorry about the loss of George. His wry sense of humor will always remain with me. His entire family is rightfully proud of the ability that George had for a forthright and honorable life.
