Went to high school with Dave in Memphis. We dated for a while. I thought a lot of Dave through the years. He was smart, kind, and ambitious when I knew him. The loss of Dave is very sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I know he will be greatly missed.

Got to know Dave the past 3 years, and will always remember his kind and gentle spirit. Shared in his struggles in this life, and know he is now in a better place /// God bless you Dave

Dear Hannah,
I am sad that this happened, God Bless you and your Daddy.
I think of you as a little girl riding your bike in the neighborhood with your Dad following closely behind. And at your birthday party he sat outside and played the guitar for you. He was a sweet gentle person and friend to everyone in the neighborhood. I pray the best for you now and the future.
love, Kayla, Shannon and Adriane

Hannah,

I am very sorry about the news of your dad. Although I didn't know him, I had the privilege of getting to know you during your years at Pine Street School. Please know that my family and I are praying for you. May God bless you and comfort you during this time.

Mr. Godfrey

I remember beach trips, train rides, Christmas at Goggies and drinking Cheerwine. Shooting fireworks in Columbia, playing in Grandaddy's green hammock and hiding under the stairs at 711 4th Street. Playing in the basement at Goggies, eating at the card table and sliding down the steps on our rumps. I remember
