I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to the family today! Even though I am miles away, I am near in spirit! I pray for the comfort and peace of Jesus to be with all of you and the wonderful memories of Uncle Bill to stay with you and cherish forever!!

I can still picture Bill behind that bar at the Central House, patiently giving me the best bartending and customer-pleasing lessons I've ever gotten. He was a gem, one that will always shine brightly in Chilton's history. I am forever greatly that our paths crossed, but then so are thousands of others who are better off because they knew Bill.

Bill was one of the nicest people you will ever come in contact with. Don't think he ever said a bad word about anybody, and if he did he said it in such a nice way you couldn't tell. I reall one deep sea fishing excursion down in FL about 10 years back when he took his son Dave and I out to catch some snapper and grouper and about all I caught was sea sickness. It was a heck

Ellie, Jim, Bobby, and David-My cousin Donna called me & told me your dad had passed away. I was very sorry to hear that. My memory of your dad was a very pleasant, happy person & very nice father. Your mother, too. I remember going with your mother to the Easter Vigil-I'll never forget that. Of course, I always appreciated your family letting me be a part of your family-singing you to sleep Ellie with "He", and playing outside with

Sincere sympathy to all of Bill's family. He truly 'turned' the world around with his example of living and the family carries on that tradition. Even though I did not know Bill in his younger years the pictures and video showed how full life can be.

I know you will miss the very special person that Bill was all his life. He lived life to the fullest and made great impressions on so many people. I remember many great times that were had by all at the Gobblers Knob and in many ways was an extension of many families. If it was getting together after church, fishing or any other activity you always felt welcome. Bill will be missed but not forgotten or not appreciated for

So sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. He was a great story teller and introduced me to Bailey's Irish Cream. Worked with him at the Central House..so many years ago but always had great memories of the coworkers that I had then. Take care.
