Memories & Candles
Everyone who knew Billy Jackson can derive comfort from memories of his understanding, intellect, and kindness. It was my privilege to be welcomed into the Jackson's home and confidence.

I have great memories of Mr. Jackson, as it relates to Indian Princesses! Brenda and I have dads to be proud of, moms too!! I remember going on camping trips with our dads and in particular our first bonfire at flat rock camp. They even put on football helmets and scrunched down on a long spelunking endeavor where we entered the cave in some hole in the ground in the woods of southern Indiana. He was one of those dads

Bill was a wonderful man who I was proud to have in my church and to be able to call my friend. We will certainly miss him at Oakhurst, and we pray the best for Beverly and Brenda and all grieving his loss.

Steve and I hold a deep fondness for Dr. Bill.
He will be truly missed.
It was of most importance to me that even in retirement he continue be given the distinction of Dr. Jackson. It often seems when one retires they lose a bit of what gave them their essences earlier in life. To have been as accomplised as Bill he truly deserved his well earned title of Dr. Yet, he would have never asked to be called that.

I was given the privilege of serving Billy and Bev Jackson as financial planner for many years, and of being welcomed into their homes in Indianapolis and Florida. Bill Jackson was the perfect example of a thinker, a scholar, a loving friend, father and husband. Always a sparkle and a spark.
I'm grateful I had the chance to know him and offer thoughts and prayers of comfort to the family.

Dear Family,
I will always cherish the memories of birding with Bill, and discovering (or re-discovering) wildflowers while on the bird walks. Plus he and Bud Starling would test each other's memories of oldie/goodie songs. He was a great and patient teacher, and he could sing!
Sincere condolences,
Leslie

We have enjoyed being Bill and Bev's next door neighbors for the past 5 years. Bill was a true friend. They came to family functions where our family enjoyed them very much. Thanks Bill

I had the distinct honor, and pleasure, to work with Billy Jackson from my 1st day with Eli Lilly to the day he retired. I was always in awe of his early pioneering work, but what I will always remember is just what an incredibly nice and kind person he was.
