Memories & Candles
Our deep felt condolences. Helen was a dear, dear lady. She always reminded us that "we were family" and treated us as such! Her hospitality was exceptional! We will always remember meals at her home, as well as Friday night fish specials and, of course, Herb's! We will miss her terribly, but are comforted by the fact that she is now walking with Jesus and her husband, and family members, and friends who went before she did.
Love & prayers

I have had the honor and privilege of knowing Helen Pope since I was 10 years old. Children do remember how they are treated by adults, and Helen always treated me so very sweetly. I will always remember the gentleness and concern she would have for me and when in conversation with her, she was always so interested in hearing what you had to say. Never monopolized the conversation, but listened with her heart. She was a blessing to her

To the Pope Family,
Upon learning of Helen's passing, I found myself at a loss for words to express my thoughts and feelings. After viewing the slide show, I was flooded with thoughts and memories of Helen and reminded of her sweet and caring nature. As I looked at the pictures of Helen, Wes Sr., the children and grandchildren, I realized how many lives she touched and will continue to touch thru her legacy. While it saddens me that she has

Rick and I are so sorry for your loss. The loss of a parent is so hard. We are never ready, but we can take comfort in the fact that she is healed and whole and walking with Jesus. Our prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Mrs. Helen Pope was a very dear Christian friend and fellow believer in God's marvelous grace, without which one is lost and w/o hope of the bodily resurrection of all true believers when Christ comes again. We shall all miss her warmth nature and smile of Christian fellowship.
We were privileged to serve the LORD with Sister Helen for 25 years or so. She seldom missed a service, but was dedicated to her husband Wesley when infirm due to his terminal illness.
May God receive all glory and honor due to His holy name.
