Memories & Candles
I just learned of Ann's passing and am truly saddened. Although I have not seen Ann in years, it is still as though it were yesterday when we were together as part of the gang in Moore Hall at University of Evansville. ( When my Christmas card was returned a year ago, I tried to find a new address, but was not successful.)
Ann's smiling face will always be remembered as will the good times we shared as college students. Please accept my sympathy and that of my husband Jesse. Blessings to your family.

I went to UE with Ann. We had fun times in Moore Hall. Ann was always a happy and fun person. We had traded Christmas cards over the years. When I did not receive one this year, I contacted other alums. I did not learn of her passing until Feb.4. So sorry for your loss.

To Dick, Justin, and Jenna,
Ann graced the Indian Creek office with great poise and professionalism. She was a valued member of our team for many years and shared her warm, friendly smile with children, parents, and guests on a daily basis. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her and share our passion for kids. I cherish the memories. May God bless you richly.

Mrs. Gray was always a welcoming smile when a child or parent entered the front office at Indian Creek. She knew our names and "stories." The front office felt calm and friendly when she was there. We appreciate all she did to make our children's elementary school experience so very positive. Our sympathy to her husband, children, family and friends. Peace be with you.

You can't think of Anne without smiling. She always had the warmest smile as she saw you approach. She was a role model for me as a wife and mother because she was always on top of things. Her children were always where they needed to be promptly, meals well prepared, home lovely, a top volunteer for anything her kids were involved in. She never spoke an unkind word and yet had a way for standing up for what was

Ann has touched so many, many lives. I was blessed to teach with her at Stony Creek at the beginning of my career. Her organization, insight, and positive attitude about each child were just some of the many reasons she was such an outstanding influence on all of us- kids, parents, and staff.
I remember just walking into her room and having a sense of calm and purpose. Not every educator can achieve that, but Ann always did. Ann, Betty McCoy,

Dear Irv, Dick, Justin, Jenna, Marilyn, Peter, Al and families.
I am very sorry for your loss of your lovely Ann.
I am grateful for the times I spent a happy family Christmas in Ann and Dick's home with Rachel and Irv, Helen and John, and the rest of the Heath and Grissmer families when we were able to return to Inpls. over the years. Ann's warmth and welcome were always gracious and generous. I enjoyed the periodic movies of the cousin's (Jane,Tom,Dave) early Christmases with the Heath "children". My sympathy, thoughts and prayers for all of you.
Most Sincerely,
Judy Grissmer

I am so sorry for your loss. Ann graced life with beauty and peace. May each of us have one tenth of these gifts she made present for us.
Ann was a beloved childhood playmate with me. We loved playing dolls; hide and seek and jacks together. There never was a difficult moment with her.
While I did not know her well as an adult I guess that this same quality followed her living wherever she was.
May each of us be buoyed by Ann.
In sympathy,
Jane
