Dear Family, I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. As a child I thought she was the most beautiful and stylish woman I'd ever seen. As an adult I learned she was also unwavering in her generosity of love and faith. She was a great comfort to me after mom died, sharing stories of their exploits-those girls were quite a team. Faith, love and charity, all in one, what a gift.

Dear Jeff and Randy,
I'm sure you now how lucky you were to have such wonderful parents. Grammy and Pa-pa were special to me also. Grammy was like a mother to me from my late teens to early thirties. She was always so kind, loving, cheerful, positive, funny and suppportive. For the last 30 some years she sent me a birthday card with a handwritten note. For nearly 20 years she sent us a note on Krista's birthday. When her handwriting

Randy, Jennifer and entire Foxworthy family,

We didn't know your mother,Randy, but I can remember you talking so lovingly about her. Parents are difficult to lose and mothers are especially hard for sons. That was my experience and I expect yours as well. Jill and I will keep her in our prayers and you as well. Hope to see you soon.

I've posted a note from my mom, and wanted to add my thoughts to all of you after the passing of my Aunt Betty, your Mom, Grandma,

As you noted, Jeff, we say so long for awhile, that's all. Way too many years since I'd seen your mom, but those sights & sounds of her, her talking, from visits & family get togethers so long ago remain. Can still see her & your

Randy and Jeff,

Betty was always such a fun-loving, and even a bit feisty woman! She always had a smile and shared funny stories. She so lovingly cared for all her "boys" and, of course, growing family. As a young woman, I remember being in awe of her convincing arguments that ironing was fun and she boasted of ironing sheets, towels, and even Dick's socks!

Remembering her fondly, I am sorry for your loss.

What my Mom meant to me,

From my days as a young child up through my entire adult life, you were always there with love and affection. The devotion that both you and Dad displayed toward us three boys, was beyond what any son could ever hope for. As life so many times can present its share of tragedy's, you were always there again to help us through. I will never forget the many, many fond memories and the incredible time
