Roger and I were friends at Indian Hills Elementary and saw each occasionally after high school. When we were kids, I remember one time when Roger and I stopped at the "five and dime" store (can't remember name), in Buchannan, and bought a tube of vampire blood. Betty and family,
We are so sorry to hear about Rober's passing. He called here one evening and talked with Orie for quite a long time. It was wonderful to hear from him.
He was in fairly good spirits and we could tell he was being well taken care of, we gratefully thank Hospice for that loving care.
We will keep you all in our prayers and ask the good Lord to help heal your sorrow.
We love you,
Orie, Sharron and family

Though I didnt get the chance to say goodbye, I know Roger is in a better place and no longer in pain. He was as good a friend as anyone could ask for.
