Praying for you and your family Elaine. We were so sad to hear about Al but are comforted knowing he is in our Father's care. He was truly a man of God and certainly will be missed. He always had such a fun sense of humor and was a joy to know. We loved the days we were together in Yuba City. May God be especially close and comfort you as only He can.

What wonderful memories growing up in Escondido and attending Light and Life Church and school. Al and Elaine Anderson were both key in my development as a young teen and Christian. God bless your memory Alvin and may God's very best rest upon your family.

The lessons that I learned from Mr. A as both my teacher and basketball coach are things that I use on a daily basis. His humor, kindness and love for the Lord have served as an example for everyone that knew him. I will always remember both he and Mrs. A, as they were extremely patient with me as their student, which was not an easy task. My prayers go out for Mrs. A and the entire Anderson family, may the Lord comfort you during this difficult time.

It was such a blessing to teach along side both Al and Elaine at Faith Christian School. Their marriage was such a testimony of their love for God and each other. I have many wonderful memories of Alvin's sense of humor and him riding his bike to school. What a legacy of love and faith he leaves behind. Elaine, you and the rest of the family are in my prayers. You are loved.

We moved to CA 10 years ago and you and Elaine were one of the first people to befriend us. You helped Wyatt get caught up in math and quickly became the kids adopted grandparents. You were always there for us and we were so glad to have you in our 'family'. We loved your really bad jokes, sense of humor and love of our Lord. You were such an inspiration to our family. We are very blessed to have

Stephanie and I are saddened to hear of Alvin's passing, but rejoicing in hope that the good-byes of earth are temporary. Our hope of heaven is dearer because Alvin is healthy and whole there, and his loved ones will join him when the time is right.
I still pray for Christy every day.
I am in Baja, Mexico, working for at least six months with disabled children in an orphanage here. I meant so many times to call
