I am just learnng of Fern's passing. Fern used to watch me as a child. I would visit her from time to time when I still lived in the area. I moved back in 2006 and visited her once in a while when I came out to San Pablo. She was a nice woman and anyone who ever met her would know the hugs she gave were the BEST!. I would like to hear from family members. Fern's dad was my mom's cousin. They were from Kentucky and Creal Springs in Southern Illinois. My telephone is 859.269.8811. I last spoke with Fern at Christmas and got worried after learning that her phone had been disconnected.

I light this purple candle in memory of my great aunt Ferndell Malray. This purple candle stands for the glow on her face as she sat in her LEGENDARY CHAIR which is purple and the first thing you see as you walk thru the front door. Aunt Fern always made me brush my teeth when I was a little girl. Her favorite
colors were purple and red. She cherished her parents. She liked to be a match maker and make my dresses for the dates she set me up for. She and I picked out my wedding dress pattern when I was a young teenager who had no intentions of marrying anytime soon so we saved the pattern for years. She did make that dress for
