I will always remember the love we shared as friend/daughter. Even thought I moved away from Indiana, I have thought of you often and enjoyed our visits whenever I was home. You are one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. I believe I got my love of flowers from you. Thank you so much for that. I will continue think of you often with smiles. We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Isabel. She was an amazing lady, and will be very missed. I, Kelsey, remember going to her house and visiting her with my grandma, Bette. I called her beautiful garden the secret garden, and loved taking a boutique home with me. My grandma Bette enjoyed Isabel's company, and always looked up to her. She loved sending her cards, and will miss her very much. We will be thinking about her and her family, and praying that her beautiful memory comforts everybody who knew her.

As I read the many memories of "Izzy" from her family and friends, I realize how lucky I was to have known her. Many years ago (36) when my first daughter was born I was fortunate to have received a plaque that Izzy made. On it was the poem "What Little Girls are Made of" with lots of flower petals from her garden.
I was blessed with 3 daughters, so that plaque hung many years in my home along with the

She was a great person. She loved everyone. I would change nothing about my experiences with her. She loved everyone with all her heart. I will miss all of her hugs and kisses. And the thing I miss the most are all of her smiles. Again she was a great women. I will miss all of the sad, happy, scary, and funny moments we had together.

As I slowly close my eyes, in wait of sleep, my mind wanders, into the deep. My heart explodes with rabid sorrow, as I dread what waits, tomorrow. I am not strong, as you always told me, I am a baby boy, who yearns for you to hold me. One more hug, wouldn't be enough, but at least we could try, and then say goodbye. The time has come, for me to stand alone, to live life without you, and

You have made so many lives brighter through your loving nature and warm heart. You had a way of making me feel special when I was around you, a smile, a hug or just something nice to say. I so enjoyed the time spent with you. You will truly be missed by me and so many others.
With love, Ken

Grandma I will always miss the frozen candy bars. I will never forget the time when Eli, Dom, Jake, and I hit the jackpot of clay by the wood bench. Another thing I will never forget is when you and I had our own little talk walking back to your house after walking in your garden. I know that it is not just me but I will miss every moment that we spent together and every sad, happy, or funny story that I was told. I will miss you grandma.

Mom, Izzy, My Mother In Law! I love you so much! Thank you for the walks in your garden, for teaching me the names of all of your flowers, for the stories, the laughs, the love, for the countless bouquets, and for never leaving your home without," OH take this, OH take that, you like these don't you?" The hugs!
I was as you would say ... "the daughter you never had." And you were my other mother! And thank you

Aunt Izzy,

Even though I didn't see you very much, the times I did you always greeted me with open arms and a kiss. You're such a sweet lady and you will be missed by many. I'll always remember you and your beautiful gardens. I know you're in heaven now and at peace.

Trinity will miss the Sunday morning hugs from a very Special Lady. Her beautiful flowers were such a Labor of Love for her. She shared them with us every week starting with the Snow drops. Her poems were delightful.

Izzy is now sharing Hugs and Flowers in Heaven.
Love you Izzy. I will miss you.
