HURST -- Linda Carol Clay, 73, of Hurst passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at home.
Service: Relatives and friends are invited to a simple graveside service for Linda at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Colleyville Boulevard at Hall Johnson Road, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville 76034. Signs will be posted inside the memorial park to mark the way to the service.
Linda was born on April 8, 1939, in Fort Worth to her parents, Kenneth and Lucy. She married Gary Clay in Fort Worth on Sept. 6, 1957. They had two children. She attended Castleberry High School and graduated in 1957.
A lifelong resident of Texas and a homemaker for 55 years, Linda was also a skillful seamstress and talented artist. She enjoyed her family, her dogs, sewing, reading and needlework.
Linda was a strong and capable person and a wise and loving wife, mother and friend.
Survivors: Linda will be remembered by her loving husband, Gary; daughter, Turia Niekamp and husband, Joseph; son, Robin Clay and wife, Linda Alicia Clay; grandchildren, Jeremy Lynn Clay, Erin Elise Williams, Patrick Williams, Ian Clay; and great-geanddaughter, Story June Clay.
