Memories & Candles
My sisters Chris & Karen both said many of the things I would have said as well about Aunt Gene. She won't be forgotten by the many people she has touched with her generosity and friendship. I will miss the many hours we spent at her kitchen table or on the phone solving all of the world's problems. We also shared a

Auntie Gene will always hold a special place in my heart. We should all strive to be so strong, so loving, so funny, and so caring throughout all stages of life. The world is a better place thanks to the growth of her gardens, joy of her friendships, and love of her family. Peace has come; memories will live on.

At a time like this one can only offer condolences, and the hope that she was as happy to have you there at the end as you were to make it back. I hope and trust it served to give a warming closure and peace to her that eased her passing.

Those we hold closet to our hearts never truly leave us.
They live on in the kindness they shared and the love they brought into our lives.
What a comfort you must have been to your mother in her time of need.
Your being their truly is a testimony in what a caring beautiful person she raised.
Peace be with you. love & prayers

Although, it was never meant for our lives to cross, I will always regard you as an exceptional woman. I believe this because your daughter is exceptional. I hope that your next life experience allows you to have an "Amy" friend.
Respectfully.........
