Memories & Candles
I am 33 yrs old and used to have Mr.Moriarty for a sub teacher throughout my education within District 833. If our class knew our teacher was going to have a sub we'd beg for him. He was a class act who loved his family. He had a way of always getting us to focus with his stories. He truely is a legacy and his stories will be passed down to my kids. Your family is in our thoughts. Cassie

We are very grateful to have had him in our lives.
Our sincere condolences to Steve and his wife Barb.

Having the gift that inspires a reluctant stundent into wanting to
learn, is the mark of a great teacher. One such teacher was Mr.
R. John Stocker

Mr Moriarty brings back such peaceful and loving memories. He exemplified what teaching was about. I was always amazed that he not only taught during the day but would teach religion at St Thomas Aquinas in the evening. He was a marvelous example of a selfless God centered man. Yes, heaven will be a brighter place because of Dan.

The gold medal standard for teaching. Mr. Moriarity`s name is mentioned so often when his students come togather you might think he was our dad rather than a teacher that I had only one hour a day for 9 months my senior year 51 yrs. ago;he touched my heart and influenced my life.
