Marilyn Joyce "Lynn" Robeson, 58, of Caroline County passed away unexpectedly while at work Thursday, May 19, 2011. She had worked 16 years as secretary for Ashland District of United Methodist Churchs and was a very active member of Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Cleveland M. Robeson; two children, Theresa Borys of Amelia and Edward Robeson of Caroline; three sisters, Janice Franer, Cheryl Sayre, and Robin Kern; a brother, David Kern; ;and six grandchildren, Christopher Robeson, Kevin Graham, Nathan Borys, Michael Borys, Tyler Morris and Megan Grissom. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church, Ladysmith, VA. with Rev. Charles Tillapaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 Pm Monday, May 23, 2011 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. In lieu of flowers,memorial contraibutions be made to Wright's Chapel UMC, P. O. Box 193, Ladysmith, VA. 22501.
