My fondest memories of Tom are the many privy digs that we did together. Tom was always the go to guy if there was any question as to age and origin of the artifacts we dug. Tom would always come up with a witty and funny comment while digging with the most popular one being "it looks like solid 80's". Tom, you will be forever missed.

"Tom was a great guy. My fondest memories of him has to be when we were out digging "privy's". Tom loved history and loved to be a part of our digs. Always with camcorder in hand he was the producer and narrator of the many digs we've been on. He would light up when we would be pulling out these ancient artifacts. He was so knowledgeable on the old bottles of the area. Even if we only pulled out a shard of glass, more times than not he could tell us what the artifact was and what time period it came out of. Even though this was so unexpected I just take comfort in knowing that you are in a better place now. We are all going to miss you Tom.
