We are so sorry and deeply touched by the loss of our special friend, Lee.

Lee and Cliff spent many hours with us visiting and teaching us to square dance. We traveled with them to many Iowa dances where Cliff was calling the dance. We really enjoyed being with Lee and Cliff at Fireside Square Dance Club and attending the Iowa Square Dance Conventions.

We met Nanci and Jim through Lee and Cliff. Nanci and Jim became our close friends and taught us the love of round dancing.

Our acquaintance with Lee and Cliff taught us many of life's lessons and gave us the opportunity to meet and dance with many great people for several years.

Lee was a special, caring, loving person who loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

May God bless and comfort her family during these hours and days of pain.

My heart goes out to your family for your loss. Lee brought so many happy moments to so many lives, and left us with a treasure trove of fond memories; may those memories give you strength. I will remember her as a sweet and loving nurturer to all who knew her. In your grief and loss, please know that you are always remembered. May the love of the people around you help you through your pain. "Life is eternal; and love is immortal; and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight."

We first met Lee at the Casey Square Dance while her husband was calling many years ago. Later we became acquainted with their daughter Nanci and her husband, Jim who was calling round dances. When we joined the Camping Club we met again. It has been a very fun relationship for us. We extend our deepest sympathy to all the family.

"Mama" Lee was a very special person who will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor of her touching their lives. As a devoted wife to Cliff and mother of four children - (all girls!) - one couldn't help but be awed by her family values and the exuberant zest for living which was so evident in Lee.

So sorry to hear about Lee's passing. She was a great lady! Our family had many great times with her and Cliff square dancing. They took me under their wing when I started calling, and taught me a lot about the business and also about life. She will be greatly missed. Whenever I see a caller calling with their had in their pocket I will always think of Lee and Cliff. My prayers go to the families!
