John was born on March 2, 1932 and passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018.

John was a resident of Poquoson, Virginia at the time of passing.

He served his country in the US Navy, graduated from NASA's apprentice school in 1962 and worked for NASA 30 years until his retirement in 1988.
