Moogalian, Alice Safarian, 87 of Norcross, GA passed away Thursday, July 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor James Moogalian and is survived by her children, Victoria M. Buffo of Atlanta, Harry S. Moogalian of Richmond, VA, Carl P. Moogalian of Atlanta, Barbara M. Pascal of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Diane E. Mooglian of Atlanta; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews in California and Virginia. Mrs. Moogalian was a long time resident of Hopewell, VA and recently moved to Atlanta to be close to her children. She was a US Army Veteran serving during WWII. She and her husband where active parishioners at St. James Catholic Church as well as St. James Armenian Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a prayer service to begin at 7:00PM, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Nelsen Funeral Home 214 N 6th Ave. Hopewell, VA. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 AM; Friday, July 23, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church, 510 W Poythress St., Hopewell, VA. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Chester, VA.
