Angela W. Zabat, 73, born on October 2, 1939, in Manila, Philippines. She passed away February 7, 2013 with her loving children and grandchildren by her side. She resided in Winchester, California at the time of her passing and is survived by her 5 children and 8 grandchildren. Survivors include her Daughter Naomi Putney and Husband Charles Putney, 3 children Angel (named after her grandmother), Alexander and Brandon, Daughter Leah Zabat, Daughter Lydia Morales, 3 daughters Elizabeth, Rachel and Hannah, Son Joshua Zabat, 1 son Jackson and Daughter Anne Cittel and Husband Seth Cittel, 1 daughter Melanie (named after her grandfather Mel). She was preceded in death by her parents, Father, William R. Wilson, Mother, Josefa R. Wilson and her husband Melchor L Zabat. Mel and Angela were happily married for 35 years at the time of Mel's passing. Angela moved to the United States from the Philippines with her children in 1979 to reunite with her husband in Chicago, Illinois who preceded them 3 years prior as an Assemblies of God Pastor/Missionary. Her all time favorite past time was reading and along side her you were sure to find, her favorite Cadbury chocolate candybar. Angela was known to her friends and colleagues as "Angie". She worked for Laidlaw Transit as a bus driver for handicapped children for 17 years and retired after the death of her husband in 2004. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, California.
