Ann Southall Owen, 78, of Chester passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Owen was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Owen and a son, Thomas M. Goodwin. Ann was a very active member of the Rivermont Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, Charles Wayne Owen and his wife, Marcy, John S. Owen, a daughter, Beverly Goodwin England and her husband, David, five grandchildren, Ashley M., Jordan N. and Taylor M. Owen, Jill N. Covault and Robert S. Baugher, two great grandchildren, Peyton C. Puryear and Erik D. Covault, a brother, James W. Southall and his wife, Ruby, three sisters, Ellen S. Prothers and her husband, Neil, Phyllis S. Mulvey and her husband, Chuck and Jane S. Martin and her husband, Charles. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell and where funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, October 25, 2010 with Rev.
