Annie Brown May

Gloucester Point, VA: Annie Brown May, 88, passed away February 28, 2012 at ManorCare Health Services in Richmond. A native of Gloucester she retired from the Mine Engineering Facility at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, and was a member of Gloucester Point Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, especially growing roses, and sewing. Annie was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need proving how gracious and kind she was.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Janie Brown; grandson, Todd Wesley May and her beloved husband, Lee Harry May.
She is survived by:
Son: Ronald L. May and wife Leeann
Granddaughter: Dawn May Schneider and husband Steve
Grandson: John David May and Christie
Step-Granddaughter: Lara McDuffie and husband Joseph
Great Granddaughter: Victoria Wesley Schneider

Funeral services officiated by Reverend Ray Goude, Jr. will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden.
