Anthony "Tony" Nicosia passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the age of 51. He was the beloved son of Eva Collins Nicosia and Manuel Nicosia. Loving father of Toni Ann Nicosia (James), Manuel Nicosia II, Bronson Nicosia, Melissa Adams (Craig) and Crystal Pohlmann. Brother of Jeffrey Nicosia (Sharon) and Christopher "Blue" Nicosia (Renee). Proud grandfather of Falynn Barbaro, Ryleigh Barbaro, Everleigh Barbaro, Krystalyn Cheramie, James Dubission, Skiler Roberts and Channing Hernandez. Uncle of Aimee Nicosia, Katie Nicosia, Mia Nicosia and Madeline Nicosia. He is also survived and fondly remembered by his companion Shirley St. Pierre, along with many cousins, relatives and close friends. Tony was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, February 15th from 9:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00PM.
A private burial will take place at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
