Baughan, Barbara B., 92, of Varina, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Baughan, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Patricia Quate (Richard), Claude Baughan, Jr. (Carolyn) and Nancy Goergner (Kurt); five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bettie Hicks, and Nancy Monger both of Henrico and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Hardy Central Baptist Church, 4655 Darbytown Road, Richmond, VA 23231. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hardy Central Baptist Church building fund.
