I can picture you guys sitting on the porch over looking the cowpasture river on such a day watching the rain drops splashing on the water and maybe a deer or two slipping down to get a drink in the river from off the ridge on the other side. Barbara's rest is as peaceful as that scene, just as we wait for the rain to stop and the skys to clear, her soul peacefully rest awaiting a time when she will sit with all of you again watching that peaceful river, the rain, the deer, but in that setting we'll not suffer as she had to in the past few months. May your good memories and God's promise of tomorrow help you through this difficult time. God Bless! Randy and Joy

Our prayers transcend the miles to ask God to bless and be with your family during this difficult time. Barbara is a sweet and loving sister in Christ and we will miss her so much. We always looked forward to spending time with her and wayne at Advent Christian Conference every year. There will be a void but her memory will remind us to live right, be good to one another but especially draw others into the fold.

I remember Barbara and Wayne were always so special to me when I would visit their church in Richmond va. I lived in Spotsylvania at the time.This was over 20 years ago. I loved going down just to sit with them and visit family. I also loved that she did crafts, because that is also my passion. Barbara liked to be called Bobby. I couldn't wait to have our church conferences because that meant that I would get to see

Bobby was such an inspiration .She loved the Lord and shared that with Wayne. I always felt the Lord"s presence when I was with them. I will miss her smiling and beautiful face.
