Bertha Mae Covington, of Bowling Green died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Woodford, she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Fort A.P. Hill and had been attending Bowling Green Baptist Church. She was the widow of Carlton E. Covington who she was married to for 49 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Cecil and her husband, Stuart; a son, Richard Covington and his wife, Karen; two sisters, Alma Collawn and Ruby Carter; two brothers, Henry "Peter" Martin and Jessie Martin and three granddaughters, Stephanie R. Covington, Karla Covington and Courtney L. Taylor and her husband, Jeremy.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Storke Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24 at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Newsome and Rev. Greg Webber officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
