BODSFORD, Betty King, 76, of Beaverdam, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert O. Bodsford; two daughters, Debra Martin (Ron) and Linda Major (Audrey); three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and many close friends and family. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Interment will be in Signal Hill Memorial Park.
