I was standing up front by the coffin and Brent casually walks up to the coffin and as he is approaching the coffin he looks and sees that Jarred has on one of his (Brent's ) shirts. I was so surprised by his reaction, He said, "Son of B*tch" you have on my shirt, I have been looking all over for that shirt and you have it on.!!" Brent looked at me and said,"That is my shirt!!" Brent and I just bursted out laughing. Jessie had went to where the boys lived and got that shirt because she had remembered seeing Jarred in that shirt anf how much he loved it and how good it looked on him. I went and got Jessie and told her about Brent's reaction to the shirt and comment on the fact that Jarred had on His shirt. She said,"OMG!!! What ?? We all laughed and it made Brent proud to know Jarred's spirit was sent to heaven with that shirt on his body that belong to him. We still laugh about that. May Got Bless you and your family and give you strength for each coming day to help you all move forward. Brent is resting in peace now, he is in God's care.

To my brother from another mother. I enjoyed the 14yrs u were a part of my life. U brought a lot of joy and laughter into my life when I most needed it. When I was down I could always call on u for a smile. When one of us was without a job, we reached out to each other until we found employment. I remember when I took u to St. Croix with me to work. U fell in love with the island and its beautiful women. I had a hard time trying to get u on the plane when it was time to go! I remember years ago when a girl named Ashley broke up with u. U called me crying and I told u to come over so I could cheer u up. U wound up staying for a month, but it was no big deal cause u were my brother. During that time u built a relationship with my kids and they started calling you uncle Brent. My youngest girl wasn't born at the time. So lately when they saw you and referred to you as uncle, she wonders how do they have a white uncle! I recently talked to you before you were called home. Everything seemed to be ok. I've been hurting since Wednesday B. I wish you would have left me with some answers. I guess now all I have is memories, and I promise to never let them go. I love u with all my heart Brent and my kids and I will miss u dearly.
