Brian joined the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013 as a result of a traffic accident. Residents of Williamsburg/James City County for a little over two years, Brian and his family previously lived in Colorado and Florida. Brian was a skilled electrician and in his short career worked on significant industrial, institutional and military projects. Brian was a craftsman with an exceptional work ethic. A devoted and loving son, husband, father and brother, Brian is survived by his mother and father, Robert and Melissa Middaugh; his wife, Lisa; his sons, Brendan, Evan and Rylan; and his brothers, Rob and Brad.

The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg on Wednesday, January 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 10 at 3:00 pm at Newtown United Methodist Church, 5209 Monticello Avenue, Williamsburg.
