Gloucester: Carl Ross Fox, 77, died at his home on November 19, 2012 after a long illness. Ross was born in York County to the late Marvin and Mary Fox, one of twelve children to include nine boys and three girls. He loved restoring automobiles leading him to owning and operating several body shops including Ross's Body Shop, Ross's Grafton Auto Body Shop and lastly Fox Auto Repair until his health declined and his son, Tab became the owner. Ross loved deer hunting and NASCAR racing with his favorite driver being Matt Kenseth. His passion was his family and he loved spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers, Gordon, Clifton, Roland, Phillip, Irvin, William, Clyde and Earl Fox; and two sisters, Susie F. Hopkins and Rosalyn F. Holt.
He is survived by:
His loving wife of 57 years: Joyce A. Fox
Son: Tab Fox and wife Tammy
Daughters: Cynthia Fox Clark and husband "Skip"
Sister: Carolyn Upton
7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren that he adored

Memorial service officiated by Reverend Bill West will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private.
The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude for the special loving care given to Ross and the Fox family by the staff of Riverside Walter Reed Hospice.
