i am sorry for your loss. i recall your mother as gracious, engaging, and animated. It was always a pleasure to see her when I visited your home growing up, for she took an interest in my ideas and activities. Please accept my condolences.

I feel so blessed to have had Aunt Carolyn in my life. She was one of the most loving people I have ever known. I couln't be there for her service, so I have an arrangement of beautiful flowers from Hawaii with a photo from our last visit in a special place in my home in honor of her. I have found peace in knowing that she had her wonderful family close by.

And, my blessed Aunt, will go on catching everyone's eye, and those of all the angels in heaven.

I can't think of my childhood without thinking of the Masons - we were neighbors, went to the same church and Claire Louise and I were close friends. As my sister, Sarah, has already commented we thought Carolyn was so glamorous and special - and the way she called her girls by singing was so unique! I know you are singing with the angels! You were and still are very important to me and my family, and you will always live within us. You taught me so many things and your spirit and love for life was remarkable. Your greatest gift was how special you made others feel. I will always cherish and remember the many times we had together, especially the last few years of your life. I look forward to seeing you again, but for now enjoy being with your husband, family and friends that you have missed much.

I have many wonderful childhood memories, especially Christmas Day visits with the Masons. Mrs. Mason was a gracious lady and a friend to our family. Claire Louise, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
