DUNKUM, Catherine Faye, 58, passed away on January 5, 2013 in Richmond, Virginia. She was born on June 6, 1954 to Margaret Lucielle and Woodrow Miles Givens. She was preceded in death recently by her son, Aaron Michael Chandler and by her father and mother. Cathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 16 yrs., Ben W. Dunkum of New Kent, Va., her daughters, Michelle (Paul) Leon and Danielle; sisters, Debbie Washington and Frances (James) Smith; brothers, James and Shawn Givens; grandchildren, Michael, Rachael, Olivia, Aaron Jr. and Madison; nieces, Ashley, Debbie, Patty, Lisa, Gayle and Beth; nephews, Wesley, Jimmy, William and Andy. Also many other extended family members and close friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231, where a service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 1 PM. Interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park, Sandston, VA.
