Charles R. “Buddy” Hussey, 83, of Hopewell passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 in Chippenham Medical Center. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WW II. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hussey, daughter, Kaye Hussey, son and daughter in law, Alan and Rena, sister, Hazel Warnock, brother, Ted, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, July 11, 2011 in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bert Cloud officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sycamore United Methodist Church Building Fund, 9710 Old Stage Road, Prince George, VA 23875.
