Charlie Frank Hughes, 63, of Disputanta passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at his home. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Frank Hughes, Jr. and a son, Michael Allen Hughes. Charlie was a retired supervisor with Firestone and Allied Signal with thirty seven years of service, an avid hunter, being the founder and first president of the Prince George Hunt Club. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Watko and her husband, Marc, his mother, Marian Hughes, a brother, Glenn Hughes, a sister Cindy Taylor and her husband, David, four nieces, Terri Hios and her husband, James, Amy West and her husband, R.J., Nikki and Brandi Taylor. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell and where funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, October 28, 2010 with Rev.
