Robertson, Claude, age 73 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Robertshaw Controls with twenty-eight years of service. Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Elive Robertson; brothers, Clyde Robertson and Wayne Robertson. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-three years, Lois Webber Robertson; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Keith Richards; grandchildren, Justin Horner and Alyssa Richards; sister, Ruth Merritt; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Robertson and Harold and Freda Robertson; a host of nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to count. The family would like to give a very special thank you to the University of Tennessee Medical Center Staff of 6-East and the CVICU for their loving care to Claude and his family during his recent illness. Funeral service 7:00 PM Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Reverend Wesley Pursiful and Reverend Doyle Wolfenbarger officiating. The family and friends will meet by 10:45 AM Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 AM graveside and interment service. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 4205 Hillsboro Ave., Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37215. Online condolences may be sent to The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
