Senior Master Sergeant Clifton Lenord Deakins, Jr. (U.S. Air Force Ret.), passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 at home in Ruther Glen, Virginia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Ann Deakins; his son, Jeffrey Stuart Deakins and his wife, Jennifer, and their children Drew and Zach; son, Clifton Dewayne Deakins; son, Roger Lee Deakins and their children; sisters, Cathryn L. Monroe and Wanda Freeman Phipps. He loved Disney World and brought that same sense of fun and joy to all who knew him. The family received friends on Tuesday, June 19th at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, Ashland, Virginia. The funeral service was held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Montpelier, Virginia. The burial followed in Quantico National Cemetery.
