Clyde Jeffrey “Jeff” Berry, Sr., 51, of Hopewell passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the John Randolph Medical Center. Jeff was a retired fire captain with the Hopewell Fire Department for twenty nine years. He is survived by his wife, of twenty nine years, Annie Berry, a son, Clyde Jeffrey Berry, Jr., a daughter, Christina M. Berry, his mother, Rosa Frances Berry, brother, Steve Berry and numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 8, 2010 with a funeral service at 8:00 pm. Interment will be private.
