Dale Edward Akers, age 45 of Fayetteville, formerly of Searcy, died Friday, September 28, 2012 in Fayetteville. He is survived by his mother, Diane Manor and husband Bill of Sherwood; father, Glen Akers and wife Trish of Fayetteville; grandmother, Jackie Swan of Beebe; one step-sister, Christy Davis of Searcy; Three step-brothers, Bill Manor, Jr. and wife Leslie of Springfield, Missouri, Michael Siau and wife Linda of Oklahoma, Richard Siau and wife Cathy of Oklahoma; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org or your local pet adoption agency.
