Dana F. Banks, 63, of Lee County, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his residence.
His funeral service will be 2 PM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.
A native of Columbus, GA, Mr. Banks had lived in the Albany, Lee County area most of his life. He graduated from Dougherty High School in 1967. He worked at M & M Mars for thirty years, retiring in 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife Ginger F. Banks and his brother Tony Banks.
Mr. Banks is survived by his son: Mickey Banks (Karen), Lee County; his daughter: Sonya Banks Simon (Todd Fisher), Leesburg; his grandchildren: Taylor Simon, Caitlin Cox, Mason Simon, Jordan Banks, Colt Banks, Makenna Fisher; his mother: Audrey Banks, Albany; his sisters: Connie Pickelsmeimer, Albany, Beth Rode (Curtis), Lee County.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Sunday from 3-5 PM.
