Daniel W. Skinner, 86, of Woodford died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Born in Caroline, he had operated Polly's Restaurant for many years and enjoyed raising and selling vegetables. He served in the Navy during War World II.

Survivors include his wife, Della Skinner; two sisters, Ethel Payne and Joyce Martin (Peter); five step-daughters, Wanda, Judy (Gilbert), Barbara Carolyn and Gloria (Benny); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Skinner Jr. and James Skinner and sisters, Rachel Heflin and Jean Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. Skinner and Corinne Klock Skinner.

The family will receive friends at Storke Funeral home, Bowling Green, Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A graveside funeral will be Friday, December 23rd at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Cemetery.
