Greenacre, David Ralph, 50, of Fairfax, passed away on April 2, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Kathy Greenacre. He is survived by his brothers, Charles Greenacre (Leti), and Evan Greenacre; uncle, Ralph Walters; and a cousin, Elisabeth Walters.David was a member of the Mountain State Railroad and Logging Historical Association. He was also a member of the Northern Virginia N-Trak Club, and Boy Scouts of America. He was active in his community, volunteering at numerous tri-athlon events. David also served his Country in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years.The family will be holding a private service with burial in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain State Railroad and Logging Historical Association, HC61 Box 203, Cass, WV 24927-9611, First Church of Christ, Scientist, 11151 North Shore Drive, Reston, VA 20190, or Buckskin Council, Boy Scouts or America, 2829 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, WV. 25311.
