David S. Parkes
43, Fishers, passed away January 1, 2011. David was a carpenter for Garcia Construction. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local #60 and attended Christian Sanctuary Church. David is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Parkes; devoted mother, Connie King; son, Justin Michael Parkes; step-children, Michael Byrd, Calvin Miller and Devon Byrd; half-sister, Misty Parkes; step-brother, Todd Gene King and step-sisters, Cheri Renee King and Lisa Jo King. He was preceded in death by his father, David Stanley Parkes and his grandparents. Services for David will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, with David’s uncle, Jerry L Horn, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 3 at the Funeral Center. Inurnment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
