Deanna W. Martin, age 61, went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregg Martin. She loyally attended the Apostolic Christian Church, Richmond, VA. Deanna was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family. She is survived by her son, Thomas E. West, Jr. (Amy); daughter, Starlett R. Martin; stepson, Joshua Martin; grandchildren, Aaron and Olivia West, and Cole Martin; sister, Wendy Heflin; brother, Ricky Wright; and her mother, Alice Wright Stutts. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 2PM at Nelsen Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
