Delores O. "Dee" Farley, of Chickahominy Haven, passed away on June 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her son, Gene Farley. Dee was a school bus driver for James City County for many years and retired from Newport News City Farm. She was also a member of Christ Community Church. She is survived by her loving companion, Bill Davis; son, Jim and his wife, Woodie; daughter-in-law, Julia; grandchildren, Hunter, Olivia, Gaby, Nina and Sophia; and brothers, Tommy and Marshall Osborne. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, where the service will take place at 4:00 PM. Since Dee was a very informal person, all friends of the family are asked to dress casually for the services.
