Doris N. Fields, 44, of Rappahannock Academy died of lung cancer at her home Thursday, September 13, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Fields; her daughter, Sarah Fields and her boyfriend, Shawn Morgan; her father, Lonnie Serrett; her biological father, Andy Norris and his wife, Peggy; three sisters, Crystal Schiebel and her husband, Daniel, Pam Norris, and Robin Serrett and her fiance' Tim Otto; her brother, Scott Serrett and his wife, Sara; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2012 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Storke Funeral Home with Rev. Catherine Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Caroline, P. O. Box 920, Bowling Green, VA. 22427 or American Diabetes Association, Box 11454, Alexandria, VA. 22312.
