Southworth, Dorothy Terry "Dot", 85, of Doswell, VA, passed away on January 18, 2012. She was the widow of Carroll Elwood Southworth, Sr., and was preceded in death by a son, Willie Southworth. She is survived by her son, Elwood Southworth, Jr. and his wife, Cindy; two brothers, Milton and Ernest Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 South Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Interment will take place at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
