Eileen J. Wall, 96, passed away June 23, 2012, in Richmond, Virginia. Born 1916 in Covington, KY, the daughter of Irish immigrants, Patrick Wall and Ellen Wall, Eileen was the beloved sister of Kathleen W. Sowder and the late Joseph Wall, aunt of Joseph, Michael, and Nancy Sowder, Karen Sowder, Scott Campbell, and Jennifer Sinor; great aunt to Megan, Kelsey, and Sara Beth Sowder, Samantha Eurton, Luke and Wyatt Campbell, and Aidan and Kellen Sowder-Sinor. Longtime resident of Covington, KY, Eileen practiced law in Cincinnati, though, inspired by Gandhi, her real calling was in caring for others, giving her money to others as she earned it. She will be remembered as a radiant example of humanity. Her kindness, generosity, and spirit of self-denial, her beautiful, intelligent, vivacious personality, her wisdom and love were a gift to us all. Visitation: Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 9:00, a.m. at the Chapel of the Cremation Society of Virginia, 1927 Westmoreland, Richmond, VA 23230. Memorials to Anna Louise Inn, where Eileen lived for many years, www.cinunionbethel.org, or to the Gandhi Foundation, www.gandhifoundation.org. Condolences to Kay Sowder, ellembrowne@yahoo.com.
