Elizabeth Isabel "Izzy" Snyder, 92, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her home. Born in Brighton, OH, Elizabeth worked as a Physical therapy assistant with St. Joseph Hospital for 13 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She had a great passion for flowers and also enjoyed writing poetry and volunteering at the church food bank and thrift shop. Surviving are her son, Donald (Kelly) Snyder of Fort Wayne, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren . Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Minnie Leslie, husband, Glenn Snyder, and son, Ronald W. Snyder. Service is at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling 1 hour prior. Rev. Matthew Leffler officiating. Calling also at - D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, Friday, February 08, 2013 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
